Description
Cerromatrix is a low-melting alloy that melts at a temperature between 218°F and 440°F. It's a bismuth-based, non-eutectic alloy. Cerro alloys are also known as cerro metal alloys. They're made from a mixture of bismuth, lead, tin, cadmium, and/or indium. They expand only about 3.3% of their volume when changing from liquid to solid form. This makes them ideal for many industrial applications.
