AMS 2300 is a high-strength steel alloy with the following properties: *Ultimate tensile strength of 1100 MPa *Yield strength of 930 MPa The AMS 2304 standard was adopted in 1995. It has similar quality requirements as AMS 2300, but it doesn't require re-melt.
