Description
Belmont Product code 2531 is a low melting point alloy from Belmont Metals. It contains 52.5% bismuth and has a melting point of 203°F (95°C). Low melting point alloys are also known as fusible alloys. They have melting points below 450°F. These alloys are safer and easier to work with than lead, and can be used to make more accurate shields for radiation therapy.
