Description
The Belmont product code 2601 is a 1/4" capping bar made of a 60% bismuth and 40% cadmium alloy. The alloy is used for soldering applications in electronic circuit boards and other high voltage or high power applications. The bars are about 1/4" x 1/4" x 14" long. Bismuth alloys are used in the production of low melting point alloys and low temperature solders. Bismuth is often alloyed with antimony, cadmium, copper, indium, lead, or tin.
