Cerroshield alloy, formerly known as CERRO SHIELD alloy, is a cadmium-free, low-melting alloy. It contains bismuth, lead, and tin. It has a melting temperature of 203 °F (95.0 °C) and a density of .351 lbs./In3 (9.71 g/cc). Cerroshield is used in radiation therapy. It can also be used as a thermal fusible for forming or temporarily fixing parts.
