CS Alloys Safe 165 is a fusible alloy that contains bismuth, lead, tin, and cadmium. It was previously known as Cerrosafe Alloy. It has a melting temperature of 160–190 °F (71.7–87.8 °C) and a density of 0.341 lbs./in3 (9.4 g/cc). CS Alloys Safe 165 was originally intended for toy soldier casting. The composition of Cerrosafe is: 42.5% bismuth, 37.7% lead, 11.3% tin, 8.5% cadmium. The composition of Cerrobend is: Bismuth, Lead, Tin, Cadmium. Cerrobend is a eutectic fusible alloy with a low melting point of 158 °F (70 °C).
