Description

Indalloy 117 is a bismuth-based, eutectic alloy that melts at 116°F (47°C). It contains 44.7% bismuth by weight, and other elements including indium, lead, tin, and gallium. Indalloy 117 is manufactured by the Parmanu Dhatu Nigam Indalloy 117 is a general purpose fusible alloy. It is used in many facilities to prevent the accidental use of a higher temperature alloy on plastic lenses. Indalloy 117 also has other trade names, including Cerrolow 117.
