Description
Indalloy 136 is a bismuth-based, eutectic alloy with a melting point of 136°F (57.8°C). It's a cadmium-free, fusible alloy that contains bismuth, indium, lead, tin, and gallium. Parmanu Dhatu Nigam manufactures Indalloy 136. Indalloy 136 is used for: *Tooling and production aids *Lens blocking Indalloy 136 is used in industry because of its low melting temperature. It has a density of 9.01 g/cc. Industry equivalents of Indalloy 136 include: AIM 58, AsarcoLo 136, CerroLOW 136, Ostalloy 136. Most fusible alloys have the following properties: *Low vapor pressure *Good thermal conductivity *High liquid fluidity *The ability to be easily reused by re-melting *Controlled thermal dimensional properties
