Indalloy 254 is a lead-free solder alloy with the following composition: 86.9% tin, 10% indium, 3.1% silver. It has a melting point of 205°C and exhibits good ductility. Indalloy 254 is a nonferrous metal, solder/braze alloy, and tin alloy. Solder is a fusible metal alloy with a low melting point that can be melted with a soldering iron or soldering gun. It's used to bond metal workpieces together. Soft solder typically has a melting point range of 90 to 450 °C. Alloys that melt between 180 and 190 °C are the most commonly used. Indium alloy is also used in dentistry and gemstones. Its composition is usually: *Gold 5 to 65% *Palladium 2 to 30% *Silver 10 to 15% *Copper 10 to 15% *Indium 0.5 to 5%
