Description
Indalloy 4 is a pure indium solder that is 100% indium. It is a soft, ductile metal that has good wettability on many surfaces including ceramics, glass, and quartz. It deforms indefinitely under load and has no tendency to become brittle, making it valuable for cryogenic applications. Indalloy 4 has the following properties: *Tensile strength: 273PSI *Shear Strength: 890PSI *Young's Modulus: 1.57x106 PSI *Melts at 157°C (314°F) *Makes a very good Thermal Interface Material (TIM) Indalloy 4 is also known as: *In100 *Pure Indium wire *Indalloy #4 *Pure Indium Heat-Spring Kit
