Description
Metspec 158 is a low melting alloy with a melting range of 70-76°C. It has a density of 9.38 g/cm3 and is composed of: 50% Bismuth, 26.7% Lead, 13.3% Tin, 10% Cadmium. Metspec 158 is used to: *Bend tubes and rolled or extruded shapes *Make custom shaped blocks *Make metal inlays *Eliminate the potential for deformation of SLA epoxy/aluminum composite materials Low melting point alloys have a low temperature to melt. For example, mercury has the lowest melting point of most materials at -38 °F (-39 °C).
