Description
Roto147F is a low-melting fusible alloy ingot. It contains: 48% Bismuth, 25.6% Lead, 12.8% Tin, 9.6% Cadmium. Rotomtals supplies a variety of low-melting-point metals, also known as cerro metal alloys. These alloys expand only about 3.3% of their volume when changing from liquid to solid form. They are ideal for many industrial applications. Low melting alloys, also known as fusible alloys, can be joined or cast at temperatures below 300 degrees. The composition of low melting alloys enables the metal to resolidify after forming into a liquid or semi-liquid state at low temperatures. When selecting a low-melting alloy, it is essential to ensure that the part which is joined, cast, or bent still maintains its strength and durability.
