Roto281F is a low melt, fusible bismuth-based alloy. It's made of 58% bismuth and 42% tin. Roto281F has the following uses: *Anchoring shafts in permanent Magnesiumnet rotors *Locator members in aircraft assembly fixtures *Metal parts in glass *Electroforming mandrels *Lost wax pattern dies Roto281F ingots weigh about 1 pound. Bismuth is an alloying element that can be used to produce fusible alloys and low temperature solders. It's often alloyed with antimony, cadmium, copper, indium, lead, or tin.
