Titanium UNS R56400 spherical powder is a titanium-6% aluminum-4% vanadium (Ti-6Al-4V) alloy. It has a UNS number of R56400. This high-strength alloy can be used at cryogenic temperatures to about 800°F (427°C). Ti-6Al-4V is a high-performance alloy with high specific strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It's used in medical device manufacturing and orthopedic implants because of its lower modulus and biocompatibility.
