Titanium UNS R56401 is a spherical powder Titanium grade 23 powder is a titanium alloy that is alloyed with aluminum and vanadium. This alloy is produced at a higher purity than Titanium 6Al-4V Grade 5. It's mainly recognized as the best dental and medical titanium grade. It's also widely used in applications when there is a need for toughness, high strength, light weight, and good corrosion resistance. Titanium powder is flammable and spontaneously combustible. Use dry chemical, sand or lime as extinguishing agents. Do not use water on molten or burning titanium as an explosion may occur. Poisonous gases are produced in fire, including titanium oxides.
