UNS C17200 is a beryllium copper plate also known as Alloy 25. It's the most commonly used beryllium copper alloy and has a similar strength and hardness to steel. Here are some properties of UNS C17200: Strength: Has a high tensile strength of over 1380 MPa (200 ksi) Hardness: Has a hardness approaching HRC 45 Electrical conductivity: Has a minimum electrical conductivity of 22% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard) Corrosion resistance: Has a corrosion resistance similar to pure copper Non-magnetic and non-sparking: Combines high strength with non-magnetic and non-sparking qualities Metal working: Has excellent metal working, forming, non-galling, and machining qualities Bearing properties: Has excellent bearing properties with extremely high compressive strengths Thermal conductivity: Has a thermal conductivity of about 130 - 245W / m・℃ by each alloy UNS C17200 is used for applications requiring efficient heat dissipation
