UNS C17200 is a beryllium copper alloy sheet. It's also known as Alloy 25. C17200 is the most commonly used beryllium copper alloy and has a high strength and hardness, similar to steel. It has a tensile strength of over 1380 MPa (200 ksi). C17200 has the following properties: Non-magnetic and non-sparking Excellent metal working, forming, non-galling, and machining qualities High durability Excellent electrical and thermal conductivities Excellent bearing properties Extremely high compressive strengths Significant non corrosive properties Great galling resistance C17200 has a nominal composition of: 97.2% Cu, 2.05% Be, 0.5% Co, 0.25% Si.
