Description
UNS C17200 is a beryllium copper alloy also known as Alloy 25. It has a high tensile strength of over 1380 MPa (200 ksi) and a hardness approaching HRC 45. Its strength and hardness is similar to that of steel. C17200 tubes are available in sizes from .750" OD and smaller, with wall thickness up to .050". The available wall thickness is about 10 to 20% of the outer diameter. C17200 has the following properties: Non-magnetic and non-sparking Excellent metal working, forming, non-galling, and machining qualities Applications include springs, flexible metal hose, Bourdon tubing, bellows, clips, washers, retaining rings, and other parts C17200 has a nominal composition of: 97.2% Cu, 2.05% Be, 0.5% Co, 0.25% Si.
