UNS C17200 is a beryllium copper alloy wire. It's also known as Alloy 25. UNS C17200 has the following properties: Corrosion resistance: Good to excellent Thermal and electrical conductivity: Medium to high Tensile strength: Over 1380 MPa (200 ksi) Hardness: Similar to steel Magnetic and sparking qualities: Non-magnetic and non-sparking Metal working qualities: Excellent Bearing properties: Excellent Compressive strengths: Extremely high Corrosive properties: Significant non-corrosive properties Galling resistance: Great UNS C17200 is available in diameters ranging from 0.050” to 0.5” (1.27 mm to 12.7mm). Smaller diameter wire may be produced by wire redrawers. Custom shapes are available upon request. UNS C17200 is commonly fabricated by: Blanking, Forming and bending, Turning, Drilling, Tapping.
