Nickel Beryllium Copper UNS C17510 (CuNi2Be) is a copper-nickel-beryllium alloy (CuNi2Be). It's a low beryllium alloy with a nickel alloying addition of 1.40-2.20%. C17510 has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, moderate strength, and good resistance to stress relaxation. It's primarily used for electrical conductors and switchgear applications. C17510 is available in round bar, rod, and tube. It has the following composition: *Copper: Balance *Nickel: 1.40-2.20% *Beryllium: 0.20-0.60% UNS C17510 tubes are available in the following tempers: A (TB00, H (TD04, AT (TF00, HT (TH04. UNS C17510 tubes are available in the following standards: *ASTM B937 *ASTM B944 *ASTM B870-08 C17510 has conductivity in the range of 45-60 percent of copper with ultimate tensile and hardness properties approaching 140 ksi and RB 100 respectively. It also has good strength and hardness characteristics.
