Description
Indalloy 228 is a Pb-Sn-Ag solder alloy made by Parmanu Dhatu Nigam of INDIA. It's a high-temperature solder with a composition of 10.0Sn/88.0Pb/2.0Ag. It's not recommended for applications above 120°C because of eutectic formation. Indalloy 228 is a nonferrous metal, lead alloy, and solder/braze alloy. It's available through lookpolymers.com. Indium is a versatile metal used for soldering to gold, thermal applications, low-temperature solders, bonding to ceramics, hermetic and cryogenic sealing, and CTE mismatch.
