Description

Indalloy 266 is a crude solder alloy that contains: 50% Pb, 30% Sn, 20% Bi. It's used for construction plumbing works and is flame-melted. Other Indalloy solder alloys include: Indalloy 252, Indalloy 100, Indalloy 106, Indalloy 121, Indalloy 241, Indalloy 256. Solder is an alloy of tin and lead. The ideal weight percentages are 63% tin and 37% lead. Soft solder typically has a melting point range of 90 to 450 °C (190 to 840 °F). Alloys that melt between 180 and 190 °C (360 and 370 °F) are the most commonly used.
